A Long Island chicken chain opened up shop on Grand Street in East Williamsburg.
The official grand opening for the location at 775 Grand Street was November 8th, although it appeared to be open and serving chicken earlier in the week. The opening party did include free chicken giveaways.
The family-owned chain is originally from Baldwin, New York in Nassau County. There numerous locations scattered throughout the area with new spots planned across Brooklyn and another recently opened location on 14th Street in Manhattan.
New locations are coming to the Upper West Side. and Lower East Side.
While the menu’s focus is fried chicken– sandwiches and tenders — there’s also smash burgers, fries, and milkshakes. One of the more unique menu items is rice pudding, which you don’t see often, except maybe Rice To Riches (which by the way, now has a Rivington Street location on the Lower East Side).
