North Brooklyn Dispatch

North Brooklyn Dispatch is another Brooklyn blog. Blogs come and go, and some of our favorite blogs have disappeared (RIP Free Williamsburg!). That’s why we launched this new blog.

You might see some of our posts go back quite a ways. That’s because we’ve lived here a long time and have been chronicling the events in North Brooklyn even if we weren’t posting about them. Some of these older posts are simply reference points to history. The city changes, and we mean to document that.

Local Dining, Shopping, and Real Estate Development

North Brooklyn Dispatch is here to chronicle the changes in Williamsburg, East Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and sometimes Bushwick. We cover news and the new: new shops, new bars, new restaurants. We also will chronicle new buildings and provide construction updates on our changing skyline.

The best way to tell the story is often just a picture. We’ll strive to provide original photography with every story. We also like making graphics, so from time to time we also will create custom artwork. Please don’t steal our work!
