The soon-to-open Whole Foods branded Daily Shop sets a new opening date.

After initially promising a December 2025 opening and then quickly walking that date back, the Daily Shop sets a new date of February 25.

The latest press release from the company posted last week promising 350 local products with hours from 8am to 10pm.

Assuming the store opens on February 25th, early bird customers will be gifted branded swag, so I know where I’ll be going after school drop off.

The store has slowly been installing even more shelving and branding over the last few weeks, but there’s still no products on the shelves yet. Local commentators have also graffitied the glass with “Colonizer shit GTFO”, so it seems the overpriced Bravo across the street will continue to have a customer base even after the Whole Foods opens.

Meanwhile, down the street, Ozzie’s Fresh Market is officially closed and the Lidl still doesn’t have any indication of an opening date.

The new Daily Shop will be located at 774 Grand Street.
