Grand Street G Train Entrance

A new, but old, entrance to the G train is closer to opening.
With more passengers relying on the G train, opening up these unused entrances along Union Avenue has been a long term project for the MTA. The extra entrances should relieve crowding on the platform, since many riders cluster to near the stairs leading to the L train and the exits.
The new entrance is actually an old entrance that was not being used. It connects to existing corridors. The construction it modernize the older facility and make it useable for customers has been ongoing. This entrance is at Hope Street and Union Ave.
