A massive fire ripped through several buildings on Montrose Avenue.

The NYFD reported a 4-alarm fire at 244 Montrose Avenue, on the short segment of the block just east of Bushwick Avenue.

The neighborhood smelled of wood smoke for several blocks around the fire and traffic was disrupted in the area.

The fire impacted several of the buildings on the block, with two condemned.
