The former lot where a stuffed gorilla spent the better part of several decades is wrapping up exterior work.

There is still some windows that need to be installed before its weather tight.

For years the lot was filled with toys, which some might call clutter. Several gorillas sitting in lawn chairs were a neighborhood landmark.

The building is being marketed as 276 Bedford Avenue, with 5,430 square feet of space divided between ground floor retail and second floor office space, as well as a basement level. It’s expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
