A new halal take-out restaurant opened on Bushwick Avenue at the corner of Grand Street.

The small store front behind the Taco Bell at 86 Bushwick Avenue has been under renovation since the start of the year, but is now celebrating it’s grand opening. There’s a 30% of discount this week, too.

The menu includes platters with rice, salad, fries and white sauce, plus plenty of fried snacks, jumbo shrimp, chicken nuggets, poppers, fries and onion rings. There’s also a few things you don’t see everywhere like corn nuggets, samosa, and masala fries.

Catering to the nearby high school, there’s also a selection of ice cream and milkshakes.

The shop is set to offer late night eats too, open until 3am on Friday and Saturday, and 1am on other nights, no doubt trying to capture spillover from the growing bar scene along Grand Street.

Crafted Halal joins a crowded field of fast food options at the corner, but the food is flavorful and spicy.
