A new cafe and patisserie has opened on Conselyea Street, just off Graham Avenue.
Ando has an existing location at 214 East 10th Street in Manhattan. The Conselyea street location is the first Brooklyn location.
The petite storefront was renovated this summer for the cafe and bakery’s arrival.
The Manhattan location opened in July of 2023 and Charlotte Druckman at Eater described it as flying under the radar when she mentioned it on Eater in 2024. Nic Yang attended culinary school in China, then trained under a Japanese chef. The resulting creations are a combination of all these influences.

The shop features delicate Asian and French fusion patisserie, like custard lava mooncakes, coconut milk panna cotta rolls, and Basque matcha lava cheesecake. There’s also a menu of espresso drinks and tea.
The tiny shop has just a few chairs, and it seems like its intended as a take away spot for the gourmet patisserie.
