A new bar and grill, Meet & Meat, has opened on Graham Avenue.

Meet & Meat takes on a small restaurant space serving up up an assortment of middle eastern dishes like skewers and hummus aong with Mexican inspired dishes like tacos and tostadas. The combination is unexpected but perhaps it shouldn’t be.

The bar menu includes classic cocktails like Old Fashion, Negroni, and Martini, and more unique offerings like a Za’Tar Gimlet.

Thebar and restaurant is opened Wednesday through Sunday, closing on Tuesdays.

The new bar replaces Dee Best Zeppoles, a local zeppoles shop that struggled to open during the pandemic in 2020. After numerous delays, the shop opened in late 2023, serving up fried zeppoles and calzones for a little over a year.

Meet & Meat first took over the space last spring with construction replacing the interior and updating the exterior as well.
