Burgers Coming to Former Graham Bar

By on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at 9:49 am

The Former Graham Ave Bar is seeking liquor license and intends to become a burger bar

A new bar at the corner of Graham and Meserole Street will feature upscale burgers from the folks behind Flat Out Burger.

The new venture will turn the front space into a bar and restaurant and convert the backroom, once used for karaoke and dance parties, into a new kitchen space.

Pending community board approval, the bar expects to be open until 2am, with the kitchen open as late as midnight — though of course all this could change.

Its unclear if the burgers will be branded as Flat Out Burger, or whether they are simply operating in a partnership with the bar. Flat Out features locally sourced beef and hand cut fries with a first location in Bed Stuy and others comes to Eldridge Street in the LES and Fairfield, Connecticut.

Even with community board approval coming as early as this week, the new bar is still potentially several months away from opening.

Graham Bar closed suddenly in September last year with the landlord taking possession of the space and leaving workers unpaid.
