Inday Closing After Five Year Run

Inday’s flagship, sit-down restaurant, Inday All Day, announced the location’s closure on Instagram.
Inday, a Manhattan-based casual chain, opened the Williamsburg location in 2022 after founder Basu Ratnam found the neighborhood’s Indian cuisine lacking.
The Inday All Day menu was a hybrid offering, combining Indian flavors with American trends like the chili lamb smashburger or butter chicken parm.
Nevertheless, there were a few odd choices. While there was plenty of chai, espresso drinks were absent from the menu, which seems a tough sell in a coffee-centric brunch city. But oddities like that aside, the food was good, innovative, and fun.
Sunday, May 10th was the last day of service for the restaurant, with the Instagram note stating the focus of the restaurant group will be the fast casual dining spots
