Williamsburg Post Office Hobbled

The scene at the Williamsburg Post Office isn’t pretty.
Problems with mail delivery appear to extend to outgoing mail. The drop box for packages at the post office serving 11211 was overflowing. So many packages needed to be picked up, letter slots were full.
Has your mail gone missing? It’s probably somewhere in this black hole. Signs informing customers not to leave packages in the lobby were being ignored as there was no room and package receiving area.
Brooklyn’s mail delivery has never been great, but since Louis DeJoy has been named postmaster, the notoriously bad mail service has only gotten worse. Letters have gone missing. Bills arrive late. Meanwhile, Congressional representatives don’t seem all that interested in addressing the issues.
If that wasn’t bad enough, postage rates are going up in a few weeks making mail a whole lot more expensive.
