Yun Hai Shop, a general store of Taiwanese goods, has opened on Montrose Avenue next door to Winson Bakery.

The shop features books, home goods and many ingredients use for cooking or finishing food.

The small space is neatly curated and it is pleasant to be inside.

There is a wide selection of chili crisp.

There is a refrigerator filled with drinks — no alcohol yet, but maybe soon! The hope is to import microbrewery beers from Taiwan.

A freezer case includes items from Winson Bakery like scallion pancakes and pork buns.

A curated selection of books, soy sauce, and hot sauce are displayed. Black sesame seed oil is available too.

The ingredients include plum sauce and spices.
