Chinese small plate restaurant, Blessing, is set to reopen within a few days to a couple of weeks.

Back in February, the restaurant opened at 216 Humboldt, between Meserole and Scholes.

The restaurant had been the dream of a senior couple in their 70s.

Blessing proved popular serving Taiwanese cuisine, dim sum, small plates and noodle dishes. It soon had lines to order. The food was delicious, especially the soup dumplings.

In the last week, the building was repainted. The kitchen was open and food was being delivered. According to a woman overseeing the painting, the restaurant would reopen soon.
