The former location of Sugarburg is seeking a new liquor license for on premise consumption.

The new business is operating under the name Little Horse.

Sugarburg was a neighborhood Tavern operating on the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and Union. The bar hobbled along as the pandemic waned, but couldn’t pull through.

Before Sugarburg, the location was a Mexican restaurant known as El Moderno.
