The William Sheridan Playground renovation has finished and the park reopened.
Construction began a little more than a year ago.
The playground has some very high equipment. There are lots of activity spaces with drums, noise makers, spinners, wheels, and all sorts of entertaining bits.
The tiny tots portion is not all that compelling. Its well shaded though and a few other components behind this photo like toddler picnic tables.
A new water feature is also included in the park with numerous fountains shooting up from the pavement.
Many of the new playgrounds include these rope climbing structures. They are difficult for younger children to use and a challenge for parents to retrieve children who are being difficult.
The playground includes fancy new basketball courts.
The space also includes new exercise equipment.
