227 West Street is rapidly nearing completion.

Seen from the East River Ferry, the two towers look nearly complete. The rising Greenpoint skyline around the towers shows off the new development along the waterfront.

The windows that had yet to be installed back in December are now covered in glass.

From the park, the two buildings look like they have been pulled apart from the same giant rectangle. The cantilevers allow more light to filter through, while put additional floor area in the higher levels to maximize views.

The new street is nearly ready for traffic.
