Williamsburg is home to the 155th Playa Bowls location.

The new shop on Bedford Avenue opened last week with free t-shirts and bowls for the first 50 lucky customers.

The 1,200 square foot shop is located just off the Bedford Avenue L train next to Stella’s Pizza.

Playa Bowls offers fruit and vegetable bowls with seeds, nuts, and granola, along with juices and oatmeal. The menu is accommodating to vegan, gluten free, keto, and paleo diets.

The New Jersey based chain started off at the Jersey shore and expanded rapidly. There are now 18 locations in New York State alone.

Playa Bowls was originally founded by Abby Taylor and Rob Giuliani with the Bedford Avenue franchise is run by Misha Punwanai.
