A new pizzeria opened on Grand Street at the intersection of Bushwick Avenue.

The shop opened a week ago at 812 Grand Street. The classic New York Slice joint sits on top of the Grand Street L Station.

The shop had a typical selection of toppings including a white pie, sausage, and pepperoni. The slice was fairly typical with enough structure to hold up to the classic fold-over eating technique.

The location was previously a falafel shop and and a Pastrami Master’s shop. both of those store concepts blended together in various iterations over the last several years until finally shutting down for good.

Two doors down, Best Pizza is set to offer stiff competition to the pizzeria.
