Taco and burrito chain Adobo Mexican Grill is coming to Graham Avenue.

The local chain offers Halal Mexican food.

Ahmed, an immigrant from Afghanistan met Luis, who had spent his childhood in Mexico, and the two teamed up to open the first Adobo Mexican Grill. Since then they have expanded to locations on Church Ave, Coney Island, Jamaica, and the Bronx.

The new restaurant on the south end of Graham Avenue is three blocks from Woodhull Hospital where fast food proliferates with national chains like IHOP, Taco Bell, Sonic, and Popeyes.
