A smaller, odd shaped lot along Withers Street is finally popping above ground.
The lot has been fenced off awaiting development for years. Permits were filed back in 2020.
There were signs of life in November, but not much happened until recently.
Located two blocks from McCarren Park just off Union Ave, the small piece of property is one of the last in the immediate vicinity to have been built on. The former industrial blocks between Union and Bedford just south of the Park were rapidly developed over the last decade, usually with multiple lots combined into larger buildings.
