Local sushi chainlette Bondi is set to open in Williamsburg in the coming weeks joining take out row on North 4th Street, just off Bedford Avenue.
The sushi restaurant first launched in Manhattan back in 2017. There are currently four other locations in the city with an Upper West Side location also in the works.
The Tribeca Citizen describes Bondi sushi as “definitely an upgrade from Whole Foods.”
The nicely packaged Sushi is more expensive than grocery store sushi, but cheaper than many of the upscale options in the neighborhood.
Bondi Sushi offers a simple menu of fresh fish designed in a “craveable” menu.
Bondi will join Digg Inn, Levain Bakery, Just Salad, Sweetgreen, and a soon to open CAVA.
The retail space at that location has housed numerous businesses including TOMS shoes, American Giant, and Umami burger, the Los Angeles burger joint.
